-John Ragnar of Williston Park, NY on April 8, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved husband to Maureen for 58 years. Cherished dad to his 4 daughters-Susan, Linda, Patricia and Karen. Adored by his 7 grandchildren-Shae, Kyle, Michael, Hannah, Rebecca, Erin and Maureen. Dear “baby” brother to his sisters Carol and Betty and brother-in-law to Nancy (Walter) and Tom (Liz). Loved and admired by his sons in law - Sal and Dave(deceased). Loved by his many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. He loved his family and was so proud of being the dad to his 4 girls. He was known for his love of dogs, cars and making things with his hands. He was the guy you went to when things needed fixing. He loved good food, red wine, dancing and parties. He could always be counted on for a smile, a kiss and a reassuring hand to hold. His quirky humor was a constant even when he began his battle with Alzheimer’s. Arrangements entrusted to Weigand Bros Williston Park, NY. Visitation Sunday April 11th 2-6pm. Funeral mass Monday April 12th 10am at St. Aidan’s Church Williston Park. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Alzheimer’s Association
