Obituary of Donna Inghilterra

Donna Inghilterra of Albertson, formally of Rosedale Queens passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 1 2021 at the young age of 67.  Daughter to the late Theresa “Sweetheart” and Louis.  She is survived by her beloved partner of 26 years Gary Hollaczek.    Loving mother to Christine inghilterra (Brian) and devoted Nana to Alexandra, Nicole, Michael and Matthew Ofsie. Beloved grandma to Chloe and Michael. Cherished aunt to Louis Inghilterra and dear sister to the late Louis inghilterra. Dearest sister n law to Diane Inghilterra.  Longest friend to Stephen DiMaggio. We are at peace now knowing she can rest and join her brother Louis inghilterra taken from us on Sept 11th 2001. Donna graduated from Stella Maris high school,
attended Queens college and retired from the US Post Office. Her true passion was cooking and eating delicious food, spending as much time as possible with all her grandchildren at sporting events and other events and traveling.   She had a very long to do list.   She loved the beach, was an avid gardener and reader. She will be truly missed by everyone! Memorial visitation Tuesday April  6th from 2 - 4pm and 6:30-9pm and prayer service at 8pm at Weigand Funeral home , 49 Hillside Avenue Williston Park, New York. Private family cremation. In lieu of flowers, our family would appreciate considering donations made in memory of Donna to the American Cancer Society.
