Obituary of Marianne Zahn

Marianne Zahn, 90, of Mineola, also known as Momma Z, passed away on February 26, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Zahn Jr., and the loving mother of JoAnn Zahn and the late Charles Zahn III.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and her sisters-in-law, Margie & Gerry.  Marianne loved all of her family and had many special lifelong friendships, especially Barbara Kolsen.  She was proud to be a member of the Golden Age Club of Mineola, part of the Rosary Society of St. Aidan’s, and on the Board of Directors of AARP with Mrs. Kolsen.  She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will always live on in all of us.

The viewing will be on Thursday March 4th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and the funeral mass will be held on Friday March 5th at 10:00 am at St. Aidan’s Church in Williston Park.  A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
