I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Sauvigne. May he Rest In Peace with his beloved wife Ruth. Although I hadn't seen him in a while my memories of him are vivid at a pivotal time of my maturation. He always had a kind word and more importantly a smile for me whenever I interacted with him at his warm and inviting home . Every time I would be driving his sons up to Siena he would be checking under the hood of my car to make sure everything was ok. Lots of wonderful memories about Siena College and Mr. Sauvigne. He was a terrific Father and Husband with a quick mind and a sardonic wit; I always appreciated that and his generosity ; always willing to lend a hand or a solution to a problem you might be having. He was so proud of Jerry, Mark, and Chris as his beloved sons and of all their accomplishments personally and professionally. All of his family members should take comfort in the fact that he was a part of their lives . You were Blessed to have him . As I said earlier , I hadn't seen or talked to Mr. Sauvigne in a while , but when I think of him my first thoughts will always bring a smile and a pleasant memory to my face. God Bless his soul and spirit as he enters through the gates of Heaven. RIP to a great man.

Grandpa I am sorry I didn't get the chance to say goodbye. I will always love you. You were one of the greatest men I have ever met and the person I have looked up to my entire life. I will always remember the days I spent with you whether it was cleaning out the garage or having a cup of coffee. You were always there for everyone in this family, you truly were the bond that kept us all together. The world has lost a great man. I hope you are finally at peace and Grandma and Chester met you at the gates. You will forever be missed.
