My Dad was a great man and I truly appreciate this after his passing. He was an ideal Father and spread love through his life. He was attentive to his wife and children. I miss him dearly.

My father was a great man. He did have a great knowledge of many things and I still dearly miss him so many years later. On this memorial day I remember his service in the Navy during World War 2. He was in the Atlantic, fighting the enemy. We are the home of the free because of the brave. God bless you Dad, Happy Memorial Day!
Love, your son, Ted

My father in law was a very special guy. He was an amazing historian, and converse about any subject. He knew most any word and when he did not, he would immediately look it up, and use it. Yes, Pop was a vivid conversationalist and I loved to sit and listen to him talk. We would chat about current events, his childhood, politics, religion, and the Mets and the Yankees.
When I first came to NY, Ted and I had just drove our belongings and ourselves across the country. We stayed with Ted's parents until we could get a house. Pop made me feel so welcome and was so sweet to me during that time. My dad had passed away 6 months before Ted and I were married. It was hard....but Pop kind of slipped in there and called me "daughter" and made me feel like I was a part of his crew. I will never forget him, he will always be in my heart. Until we meet again, Pop....

I first met Bill when I was a firefighter in the South Bronx. E 312 was often sent to our area and I saw first-hand what a great firefighter he was . When I became a Lieutenant I was fortunate to be assigned to E 312 and recognized that Bill was one of the most respected (deservedly so) and competent people I ever met in my FDNY career. I loved seeing him at our Keonigs reunions. It won't be the same without him.
