Obituary of Kathleen P Bolger

Mrs. Kathleen (Peyton) Bolger, 82, of East Meadow, NY, died on February 7, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Bolger, who predeceased her on January 16, 1991.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John J. Peyton and Beatrice (Cullen) Peyton.

Kathleen was educated at Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School, St. Joseph’s College and Bergen Community College. She was a registered nurse at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, for 30 years. Faith, family, and education were core principles of Kathleen’s life. She will be remembered by family for her warm smile and quick wit.

Survivors include her two loving children, Brian (Ruth) Bolger of Woodbridge, VA and Mary Jo (Kevin) Brady of East Williston, NY, and seven dear grandchildren.  She was the loving sister of Mary (Peyton) McGrover (the late Albert McGrover), John, Robert (Mary), Walter (Marita), Edmund (Martha), and the late Gerald (Mary Ann) Peyton. She had many dear nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Aidan’s Roman Catholic Church in Williston Park, NY, on February 17, 2021, at 11:15 am.
