We just heard about Stacy and wanted to offer our prayers and condolences to her family. My family lived on Bauer Place in Mineola and grew up with Stacy and Kelly. I was friends with Kelly and spend quite a bit of time at their house. My mother had run into Stacy a number of times either on Bauer Place or at the library park. I worked with Stacey years ago at Northern Westchester Hospital. We worked in what was called Admitting Office. Being older I became very motherly fond of Stacey, she was smart, beautiful and had a kind of odd sense of humor which we shared. I was so happy for her when she married Hugh and i just loved seeing pictures of her beautiful children and her doxies. We haven't seen each other in years, but watching her family on FB was great. I am so saddened for you Hugh and those beautiful children, my thoughts and prayers are for them to be strong enough to deal with this and continue to do well and grow up, I am sure Stacey is with her mom and dad and watching over all of you.
