Rev Kitt Von Braunsberg posted a condolence

Dear, Annie,
I don't know if you remember me, Kathy Von Braunsberg (St Aidan class of '63). It's only been 57 years. I was sorry to hear about your Mom (and Dad). As I reminisce, I recall that you had long blond hair and a contagious smile that would seem to reveal a happy family life, with even more siblings than I! If I remember correctly, your Dad and mine worked together on a newspaper drive sponsored by the Holy Name Society to fundraise for the "new church" (it was the first I ever heard of recycling). I think that your Mom may have been a member of the Rosary Society with my Mom. I had only been to your house a time or two and did not get to know your parents well, but always heard nice things about your family and remember liking you. I lost both my folks within four months of each other in 2010--they would have been married 62 years. You are blessed to have had your parents for so long--I hope they died peacefully. The loss defies words, but our faith reminds us that we are one in Christ and will be reunited again. I would like to think that our reconnection at this time of grief gives some credence to that hope. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult of times. I reside at 43 Cross St, having purchased the homestead when Kathleen and Fred died. I can be reached at 516-801-4275 if you'd like to "catch up" or have the need to reach out to an "old friend." I'm sorry I was unaware of your Mom's death until after the funeral. Hope to hear from you sometime.
+Peace, with Love, Rev Kitt Von Braunsberg (aka "Kathy Von")

June and Jim O'Hara epitomized "The Greatest Generation." Unwavering love of God, Family and Country that we are sorely missing today. Mrs. O'Hara was a tremendously kind and caring woman that always made me feel welcomed as her "sixth son". Her success as a mother can be measured by the upstanding character and moral fiber of each and everyone of her children, all of which I consider family. As with my own mother I take great comfort in the fact that Mrs. O'Hara is home. God bless and welcome her.

Dear Paul,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
As a photographer, I can say what a beautiful woman she was and the lovely smile she had. Your whole family was blessed to have her for so many years.
Sincerely,
Ben
