Nunzio Nick Pantano was born and raised in Brooklyn New York and lived there for his whole life. He was the son of Paul Pantano & Celestina (Canto) Pantano, he had 2 brothers Paul & Joseph & 4 sisters Edith, Annie, Victoria & Theresa all deceased except his brother Paul. Nunzio enlisted in the US Navy as soon as he finished High School to help fight in WWII, He was honorably discharged at the end of his service. He then married his beautiful childhood sweetheart, Josephine (Bianco) Pantano who were married for 70 years. They had two children Celeste & Doreen. Nunzio worked for the Bakers Union as a Union Delegate 45 years. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus and was elected Grand Knight for 45 years. He enjoyed most of all sports but his passion was bowling and he was very good at it. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who derived great pleasure in spending time with his family. He loved fine dining and vacationing. He passed away peacefully after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Josephine (Bianco) Pantano; daughter, Celeste Pantano; daughter, Doreen Perna & husband, Richard Perna; three grandchildren; Richie Perna, Nicole (Nitti) Perna & Anthony Perna and four great grandchildren; Luca Perna, Romeo Perna, Nico Perna and Landon Nitti.
