John was my colleague at work and he always smiled and was a fun to be around with.
John was a caring person and he even sent me an email checking on me immediately after the covid thing broke out in 2020. I am back to my office in NYC finally and this place is not the same without him.
My deepest condolences to his husband and his family. Rest in peace John and thank you so much for everything you did for me and other people at work.

John was an amazing nephew. His love and kindness was felt by all who knew him. He was full of fun and mischief and had fabulous potty stories and jokes. If you knew John, you loved him and always will. His beautiful smile will live in our hearts forever

Every interaction with John was always full of joy and life. His compassion was always there, even if the humor was outrageous. Yes, sometimes he was outrageous! Wonderfully outrageous!
He loved his Studebaker, "Chiclett", and was a great contributor to many fond memories in the car club.
My heart goes out to Joe and all of John's family. I am so very sorry John was taken away. May his laugh and the many fond memories be with you forever.

Although we met 3 years ago, I considered John a friend. He was my guide in NYC we had such a blast during our post-work cocktails. He made me laugh with his silly messages on whatsapp, he was bigger than life and I am gonna miss him deeply. My deepest condolences to his husband and his family. Rest in peace my dear.

I knew John as a classmate of Carle Place High, ‘78. I met him when we were in our production of Cyrano de Bergerac, pictured here, in which he had one of the leading parts. I met up with him again over the years at various class reunions and stayed in touch through Facebook. John was a car guy like me, I loved his Studebaker convertible.
Really a nice guy. The world is an emptier place without him. There are a lot of broken hearts over John’s leaving us so far too soon.

It's impossible to share just one memory of John. He was one of the sweetest, most generous, and funniest friends we have ever known. But if I had to choose one thing that I loved about John, it would be his compassion and caring nature, especially toward my Dad. He always asked how his "Navy Buddy" was doing, and enjoyed spending time together chatting about their Navy adventures. And even while sick, he still asked for my Dad and hoped he was "staying safe" through these crazy times. It's who John was and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. And to the Koveleski family, and Joe...there are no words that will lessen your pain. We are thinking of you and want you to know that we are heartbroken too...John will never be forgotten nor replaced. Love from Lisa (Cianca-Skorzyk), Benny (Santiago) and Lou (Cianca).
