Elaine and Liz, I was very sorry and sad to hear of the death of your beautiful mother Mary Beth. I fondly remember her from the early 70's when my dad Mike Tomaino and your dad Gary first met at Banker's Trust and later worked together at Roosevelt and Cross. At the time, my parents were the couple with children, and my three sisters and I would have the full attention of all of the young newly married couples, including your parents at all cocktail parties. As a teacher, your mom knew I wanted to grow up to be a teacher, and she let me grade her spelling papers. Through the years, they were always two fun and loving people, and when you girls came along, I was already in HS and saw them and you girls at graduations and other celebrations. I saw your mom sporadically at St. Mary's, and she always had a big smile and hug to remind me of our very long history. I will always remember her for her loving, giving, and beautiful nature, and the wonderful memories of your parents friendship with my parents, Mike and Joyce Tomaino. My sympathies and condolences. God bless you girls and your family.
