Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. At age 92 you still had so much love in your heart, sass, and the best stories around. Our big Irish family is so blessed and so thankful for all of the life lessons, values and memories that you gave us and will continue to pass on. I am so thankful for how close you’ve made our family because it’s not every day that you grow up and continue to have your cousins as your best friends. Thank you Grandma for always being there, being the comedic relief, loving us all unconditionally and leaving us with the best memories. I always loved spending the summers at your summer house, going to “crabby beach”, helping you cut the ivy off your fence on Exeter street, going to Sunday mass, and getting the worst golfing score at the Corrigan Classic. I’ll miss having a glass of wine with you and just sharing stories. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you until we meet again.

God must have given grandmothers to us to liven up our lives, to make our lives more complete, to make us well rounded and better human beings. There will never be a day where I don’t think of you and wish you were here by my side. Thank you one million times over for all you did for me, taught me, all the wonderful memories, all the laughs and the unconditional love you had for me. Thank you for teaching all your grandkids how to swim, for all the summer house memories, and for being the best golf partner around! I know you will always be with me and you will have the best seat in the house at my wedding. I love you so much grandma and may you rest peacefully. Until we meet again .

Heaven gained another Angel. We love you very much Grandma and know you’re in good hands now. Thank you for Always being there for us. You never missed a birthday or holiday and your house was always filled with so much fun and love. I know you love how close our family has always been and that our cousins are our best friends. We are even passing those values on to our own kids. I know the past few years have been tough, but you were were the definition of tough and an amazing role model for your 7 kids, 16 grandkids, and 6 great grandchildren. Please give Grandpa a hug for us.
