Obituary of Brian Dyke

Brian Dyke, 77, of New Hyde Park, died on December 27, 2019. The son of Gertrude and William Dyke, Brian was born in Barry, South Wales, Great Britain. On May 1, 1971, Brian married the love of his life, Margaret. In addition to Margaret, his wife of 48 years,Brian is survived by their children Brian, Jr. (Erin), Eileen and Susan. His biggest joy was being “Pop Pop” to his three grandchildren, Katelyn, William and Ewan. In addition to his work at the airlines (British Airways and Air India) and driving for Triboro Coach Company, Brian delighted in being a Scoutmaster, soccer coach, and softball coach, and going on many field trips with his children. He loved fishing, gardening and travelling to many parts of the world. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org
