Obituary of Kenneth Charles Botensten

Kenneth Charles Botensten, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Thursday December 12th at St Francis Hospital in Roslyn.

Born in Chicago and raised in New York, he is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Rita Botensten; his two sons, Scott Botensten and Charles Botensten; his daughter, Kerry Botensten;his daughter in law Jayna Botensten, his sister, Judy Fornasar; two grandchildren; Sandra and Riley and many close friends and family.

Our family wants this to be a joyful time to celebrate his life, the family he built with his wife of 46 years and the love he showed every person he met. We are blessed and forever grateful to have had him in our lives for as long as we did.

He served in the United States Army and volunteered every week helping others at the VA Hospital, up until his time in the hospital. Supporting our Veterans was most important to him. So, we ask that in lieu of flowers, please donate to Wounded Warriors.
