She will always be remembered as an angel who welcomed me and my children into her home. Although just a tenant, she treated me and my children as family during the darkest days of my divorce. Things will never be the same around here. Deepest condolences from the Steven J. Panzella family.

Monika was the most wonderful person that I have ever met. She had the biggest Heart that she shared with everyone that she met. She was always so kind to all the faculty and students of Garden City High School. Monika was my Special Guardian Angel, who always made sure that I was doing well and that I was eating right. She was always ready to help me and so many others in any way that she could. She was always ready to chaperone all my Field trips to the city and she volunteered Stephen, her husband, as well. She was like another Mother to me. My heart is broken with such a great loss in my life. She will forever be in my thoughts, prayers and in my Heart. Heaven has gained an incredible Angel. My deepest condolences to Stephen, her husband, all the children and grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Monika was a roving ambassador in GCHS. Her visits and chats were always welcome as a respite in one's day. She seemed to have the building under control in so many ways. I am certain that her family will miss her giving spirit. My condolences to her husband and all family members.
