Obituary of Leonora M. Calwil

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Lenore Calwil. She was a long time resident of Manhattan and Southampton. A beloved wife of the late Warren Calwil, adored mother of Alison Ahrens and Bruce Williams, a loving mother-in-law to Edward Ahrens, and devoted grandmother to Julia and Laura Ahrens. During her lifetime, she was a principal for the Board of Education of the City of NY. She was a master bridge player, a gourmet chef, an avid knitter, spinner, and gardener. She will be missed greatly, may she Rest in Peace.
