Oliver H. Alamandy, 2/5/65-3/3/19

Oliver H. Alamandy, 54, of Sunnyside, NY, passed away suddenly on March 3, 2019.

Memorial and Prayer service will be held at Weigand Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave. Williston Park, New York, Sunday March 10, 2019 from 1pm to 4 pm. Catholic prayer service 3:30 pm.

Oliver was born in Queens to Dorothea Tietz and Henri Alamandy on February 5, 1965.  He was a 1981 Alumni of Xavier High School in Manhattan. He went on to earn degrees from New Paltz College and Stony Brook University. He was employed as a Pediatric Physical Therapist, most recently for the New York City Department of Education. He enjoyed spending time with his children, going to the beach or upstate on the weekends, and loud music. And, of course, the New York Yankees and Giants.

Oliver is survived by his father Henri and is preceded in death by his mother Dorothea. He is also survived by his four children, Elizabeth, Madeleine, Oliver Jr. & Charlotte, whom he adored.
