I am so sad to see this. He was such a good friend to my father and always enjoyed my chats with him especially about the Mets!
My prays and thoughts are with Mrs. Alfano and family!

Uncle Chubby was always like a second father to me and completely like a brother to my dad even though he was the brother in law. His family values were huge. If we ever needed assistance with anything mechanical or with every day life situations we knew we could always count on Uncle Chubby. Every Saturday he and my mom went to mass and I always enjoyed going with them too because I enjoyed the conversations I had with him or the talks he had witn other attendees. He had a great sense of humor and always willing to point out the good looking females for me to meet when I was younger. His athletic abilities were great and he played softball and volleyball for as long as possible. He used to be my paddleball partner too. Fourth of July was always a blast too because I cannot tell you how many sewer caps I witnessed flying in the air from cherrybomb fireworks. The only thing I could never understand is how he ate his meat so well done. One year I placed a charcoal briquette on a bun to see if he could tell the difference from his typical hamburger. His voice will never leave my head and his love of family and life will never leave my heart.
