Obituary of Mildred Kelberman

KELBERMAN, Mildred Oberlin 96, died peacefully on October 9, 2018, six days shy of her 97th birthday. Millie is survived by her three daughters, Linda Bodner, Shelley Maschwitz and Carole Richner, and her sons-in-law, Bruce, Peter and Donald. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren Alexandra, Emily, Erin, Gregory, Hannah and William and four great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jesse, Liv and Sofie. Millie loved her step children and their spouses Karen and John Goertler and Dale and Lois Kelberman and their children and grandchildren Jessica, Jamie, Samantha, Dena, Joshua, Grady and Cole. She was predeceased by her son Bruce Oberlin, her husband Murray Kelberman, her former husband Abe Oberlin and her siblings Seymour Torem and Hilda Sonner. Millie loved life, travel and spending time with her family and friends. She always was positive with a ready smile and will be missed dearly by family and friends. Services are on Sunday, October 14th at Weigand Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, New York 11596 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Beth David Cemetery.
