Hunerberg- Edward P. Born in Brooklyn, NY November 24, 1922 WW11Coast Guard Veteran passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2018, surrounded by his family.  Edward leaves a legacy of kindness, compassion and devotion.  Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth A., his childhood sweetheart.  They were happily married for 73 years. Devoted father of Edward C. (Pam) Donald T. (Desiree) and Nancy E. Livingstone.  Cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Edward lived a beautiful life. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Religious service Thursday 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Friday 10:30 am. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Mary Ann Tully Hospice Inn. www.hospicecarenetwork.org.
