Obituary of Martha A. Toohig

Toohig, Martha Agnes (nee Horan) left this life on June 24, 2018 at the age of 100. Martha was born in Brooklyn, NY. She spent most of her life in Brooklyn, various parts of Nassau County, California and New Jersey. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Proud and loving mother of Arthur Jr and his wife Margaret; the late Rutherford and wife Celia; Patrice and husband Thomas Bondi; Robert and wife Rita; Martha and husband Antoine Nassimos. Loving “Granny” to 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Martha took great joy from her family, brought great joy to her family and through her faith and love encouraged them to be all they could be. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 am Saint Mary’s RC Church, Roslyn, NY.
