Obituary of Joan F. Gallagher

Gallagher, Joan Frances passed away at her home after living a long and fulfilling life. Joan was born in NYC. She was the beloved wife of Robert F. Gallagher from 1955 until his death in 1994. She is survived by her four children: Robert, Brendan, Brian and Christine along with eleven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Patricia Dolan. She was known for her sharp wit and competitive spirit in Scrabble, bridge and golf. She was particularly proud of the "hole-in-one" trophies both she and her husband Bob won. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY on Thursday, May31st, 2018 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. A funeral mass will be offered at Corpus Christi Church in Mineola, NY at 9:45am on Friday June 1. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
