Obituary of John J. McMahon

McMahon, John J. "Jack" of Williston Park, NY on April 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Grace. Devoted father of Michael, Eileen, Joseph and John. Beloved grandfather of Katherine, Ryan, David and Daniel. Dear brother of Mary Kirwan, her husband John and uncle to their four daughters. Dearest cousin of Mary Johnson and her husband William. Also survived by his cherished daughters-in-law. Retired Deputy Chief FDNY, member of the American Legion Williston Post # 144 and VFW Post #1688, he was involved for many years with Boy Scout Troop 201 and other various Williston Park organizations. Visitation Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:45 am at Saint Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jack's memory to The NY Firefighters Burn Center Foundation, 21 Asch Loop, Bronx, NY 10475.
