I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my friend Harry Fleischer.
Harry served the Williston Park Fire Department honorably for over 40 years. He was my Deputy Chief, and rose to the rank of Chief of Department in 1979. A beloved member of Company 3, Harry was well respected by all members of the Department.
I remember many fun times that we shared both at home and at numerous upstate fire conventions. Harry was often the life of the party! He will be missed.
My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to Harry’s wife and family, and to the men and women of the WPFD who served closely with him over the years.
May he rest in eternal Peace.
Ex-Chief Tom Murphy
