Obituary of Freddie S. Del Pozzo

Freddie Del Pozzo, of New York City and Lake Peekskill, N.Y. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28th after a brief illness. The adored son of Marie Del Pozzo of Ft. Lauderdale and the late Alfred. Fred was the cherished brother of Theresa and the much beloved father of Melissa and Gabrielle(Richard) and a proud Pop-Pop to Juliana,Leah,Thomas,Travis & Camryn.
Fred owned Scheyer Travel and was a travel agent and world traveler for over 50 years. He was also an owner of Strawberry Fields, a resort in Jamaica, his second home. Fred was much loved by his truly special friends, his cousins, clients, and fellow agents, most especially, his Anna.
A well-traveled life and a family who loved him so.We will miss him forever.
Visitation Saturday March 3rd, 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm, Weigand Brothers Funeral home, 49 Hillside Ave,
Williston Park, NY. Funeral service 1 pm Sunday at funeral home. Interment Monday, March 5th at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington,NY.
