Obituary of Kathleen O'Shea

KATHLEEN Mc CANN O'SHEA of Williston Park on February 11, 2018.

Beloved wife of the former Honorable Nicholas F. O'Shea (Frank).

Devoted mother of Kathleen, Mary Ellen (Tom Cusack), Elizabeth and Margaret (Gil Tippy).

Loving grandmother to Nicky & Tommy Cusack and Sarah & Glenn Tippy

Adoring aunt to many nieces & nephews.

Survived by her brother, Danny, & many cousins whom she loved.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland and raised in Roslyn.

Kathleen often spoke of the adventures she had in her lifetime.

She was proud to graduate from Cortland. She taught kindergarten in Westbury.

As a Fullbright Scholar, she had the opportunity to teach in Scotland for a year.

While there, she traveled Europe.

Kathleen's biggest pleasure, however, was being a mother.

She will be missed terribly.

Visitation will be held at Weigand Bros Funeral

Home Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 am at

Saint Aidan's RC Church. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
