Obituary of Francis J. Vecchione

VECCHIONE, Francis J. "Frank", age 89, of East Williston, NY. Beloved husband of Antoinette and loving father of Susan (Charles) and Michael (Kerry). Grandfather of Matthew (Jessica), Mark, Kevin, Alexandra and William. Cherished brother of Joan Latawiec. Frank graduated from Brooklyn Technical HS and St. John's Law School. He was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a member of the NYS Bar Assn., New Hyde Park Elks, NYS Workers Compensation Bar Assn., former member of Blackstone Bar Assn. of Ridgewood and the Wheatley Hills Golf Club. He was a former chairman of the East Williston Village Board of Zoning Appeals and former manager and president of the East Williston Little League. An attorney from 1953 to date with Vecchione & Vecchione LLP then Vecchione, Vecchione and Connors LLP. Visitation 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm, Tuesday at Weigand Bros FH, 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park. Funeral Mass 11:15 am Wednesday, St. Aidan's RC Church, Williston Park, NY. Entombment at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
