ROTHWELL – Dorothy M., of Mineola, NY on August 19, 2017 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Harold P. Rothwell. Dear sister to the late John Capek. Devoted mother of Thomas, Beverly, Richard, and Lorraine. Wonderful Nana to James, Richard, Robert, Kenneth, Deborah, Rick, Dawn, Kimberly, Michael, Andrew, Joseph, and Stephen, along with 16 great grandchildren. Devout member to Our Lady of Hope and Corpus Christi Parishes. Reposing at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave Williston Park, NY on Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 155 Garfield Ave., Mineola NY on Tuesday at 10:45am. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. Her infectious smile, kind heart and graceful humor will be missed dearly. May the Angels lead you into Paradise and may PopPop welcome you when you get there.
