Obituary of Dorothy L. Cleeve

CLEEVE, DOROTHY L., 90 of Albertson, NY passed peacefully Saturday April 22. She will always be remembered for her warmth, friendship, laughter, love of dancing, compassionate nature and beautiful blue eyes. Widow of Albert Sullivan, also predeceased by beloved husband Courtney Cleeve and daughter Virginia. Devout communicant of St. Aidan's, tireless volunteer for church and community. Member of Rosarians, Albertson VFW Post # 5253, and former Girl Scout leader. Sadly missed by 3 devoted daughters Patricia Rickard (James); Maureen Jaconetta (John); Dorothy Kozak & Walter “Chip” Fricke, (her two primary caregivers); 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Weigand's Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Calling Hours: Wednesday April 26 2-4pm & 7-9 pm . Funeral Mass: St. Aidan’s Church, Williston Park, Thursday April 27, 11:15 am. Memorial donations may be made to the American Altzheimer's Association.
