I first met my wonderful mother in law when Jim invited me to a family/cousins wedding. At the reception Jim introduced me to his mom. Mom quickly said “Come honey have a seat next me” then she turned to Jim and said “Jim, go get Christie a drink” Jim reply to his mom “Mom, I can’t Christie is an alcoholic” Poor Mom felt so bad for me and she turned and apologized and said to me “Oh honey, I’m so sorry…” I just stood there with my mouth opened, I didn’t know what to say. THEN Jim said, “only kidding mom, she’s not…” We all had a big laugh THEN Jim when and got me the drink and Mom and I sat there talking all night long. When we moved into the area I remember walking to their home on a Saturday when Jim was working and Mom and I would have tea and relax for an hour or so. I have so many wonderful memories of my great mother-in-law, I will miss her dearly. She is now resting with Dad. And knowing mom she is probably cleaning up there in heaven because we all know she relaxed best when she was cleaning. I am grateful to have known her. Love and miss her forever. RIP my loving mother-in-law

Dear Cousins:
You are all in my prayers during this sad time. Your Mom was a great aunt. So supportive of me in 2004-2005 during my mother's long hospitalization in Virginia-calling to check on me and praying for me. I never saw her without a smile and she was really good at teasing my Dad after he teased her.
I know all our family that have gone before us are welcoming her with smiles and hugs. You have wonderful memories to ease your pain.
God bless you.
Judith

A Mother’s love is binding
Unrelenting in its power
The glow from it so blinding
Beyond her final hour
Even after a Mother’s gone
Her love will see you through
A love to help you carry on
Because that’s what mothers do..
With deepest sympathy..prayers to you and your family.
