Bores, George K. of Williston Park, N.Y. on February 16, 2016. Beloved husband of Margo. Devoted father of Thomas (Joyce), William, Linda (Ken Hearn) and George (Susan). Loving grandfather of Andy, Chris, Tommy, Alex and Anna. George was a Veteran of The U.S. Coast Guard (Korean Conflict), Retired N.Y.P.D Officer, CYO Softball and Basketball Coach at St Aidan's and Member of The American Legion Williston Post #144. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, N.Y. Funeral Mass Friday 11:15 am at St Aidan's Church. Cremation Private.
