I was a member of The Wheatley class of 1965 and was recently informed by fellow classmate Saleem Pernath (Gibb Gerry) that Tom has passed away. My sincere condolences to Tom's family and friends. I haven't seen Tom for some time, but all of my memories of Tom are good ones and I will miss him a great deal. I was very sorry to hear of his passing.
Rest in peace my friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom for over thirteen years prior to his retirement. I will always remember our conversations that often contained words of honesty and encouragement. Tom was a strong leader and a proud American. He will be sorely missed.

Tom and I worked for the same company until he retired. He was a stern boss but outside of work he was a fun and friendly guy. Most people recognized him by his booming voice. He always liked to talk about the rivalry between our respective high schools. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. My condolences go out to his family.
