I was 13 when I knew Jean Colavitti. She was married to my step-father's brother. She became my mother's best friend, and we all were friends. I have memories of love and friendship with her and family. She was a beautiful and loving person., and will be missed. God be with her. I named my daughter Jean, after her. God be with her.
My deepest sympathy,
Diva Fiedler

I am known as Cecelia, daughter of Agnes & Al DeSouza.
I absolutely adored my Aunt Jean. She took care of me for two weeks back in 1946 when my mother went to California to get a job so we could move there.
My aunt Jean, as I have always called her, was highly respected and a beautiful woman inside and out. I loved her and always told her she had
class. We were estranged for several years and reunited about ten years ago when I spent the night at her home in Jackson Heights NY. Since then we spoke occasionally on the phone and always on May 23rd. I am sad, but our last conversation assured me that she is with Jesus and her sons, Duke and Dick, in a glorious place called HEAVEN.

We are so grateful for all of the special time we spent with (great) Aunt Jean. She was a wonderful amazing woman. We are so happy to have spent some of her final days with her and are now happy that she is with her sons and husband.
God bless Aunt Jean.

Dear cousins and families,
Aunt Jean was a dear and wonderful person. She gave out great life lessons just by being herself. Susie and I are so glad we were able to visit a few times these last few years.
We were sad to know that her last days were difficult. Our prayers and love are with you. We know she is in a better place now, happy with family and loved ones who have gone before.
