Callahan, James Joseph, longtime resident of Mineola passed away on February 7, 2015, just shy of his 89th Birthday. U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and Retired Lilco employee. Beloved husband of 65 Years to Helen, his devoted wife. He is survived by his 4 sons, James (Karen), Michael (Sharon), Richard and Brian (Sannet). Cherished grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 1. Visitation Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Church, Carle Place, NY. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
