I will always remember my father's commitment to doing what he believed to be right, even if that wasn't easy. It's a commitment that he passed on to me and I will be forever grateful. I will also remember his wicked sense of humor and the excellent way he had of not taking himself overly seriously, which will stand me in good stead for the future. And I remember how much he loved my mother. Peace to him, to her, and to all of us who remember them.

Uncle Bill,
You were a wonderful brother/uncle/Godfather to my mother and me.
Throughout my life I heard many stories of your love and support from my Mom.
She was so grateful to have a brother like you, and gave me the gift of you as my Godfather.
I have many happy memories thanks to you and I can't help but laugh when I think of the funniest
times. You were there for me when I was at my worst, and had faith in me when I had none.
I'm glad I was able to make you proud. Your loving spirit will be your legacy.
Carolyn

Father's Day 2014. Brought Dad home made Italian food, as he wa in rehab for his hernia repair. Jeremy brought him "juice", which unbeknowst to us was a Coors Light. Dad had a great day, followed by a totally peaceful nap.
The next day he asked me, "Got Juice?" I said, NO WAY JOSE!

Ever mine, ever thine, my dear and beloved Dad. There is a vacuum in my heart, an empty place that is slowly filling up with geat gratitude for the gifts you gave me, and the love you shared with our family and friends. What an impact your life had on all of us. How blessed we were to have you for as long as we did. The love that you shared came back to you tenfold, and sustained you. But the love of your life was calling to you, and I pray that you are embracing Mom right now. When you are done greeting the many folks who went before you, your dear sisters and others, please, Dad, hold my hand again. I will always strive to make you proud and carry your spirit in my heart.
The best and most constant advice you gave me was "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved, in return."
Thank you, Dad, for the Master Class.
I love you always,
Catie
