I managed Cecilia during her contract work as a producer for the US Department of State for 15 years. I always found her ready and eager to take on a new project and will miss her energy and creativity that she brought to each and every assignment. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear sweet Cecilia. She was a beautiful woman with the greatest smile and laugh. Cecilia was a dear friend with a big and loving heart. I know she loved her family so much and spoke of her love for her children often. She will be missed. Please know you are all in my prayers and thoughts during this very difficult time. There are no words to express what is in my heart. Dear Marie and all of Cecilia's children and siblings my heart is broken for each of you. I remember Cecilia as always being so loving, kind, sweet and talented. God gave her many gifts and she shared them so well. She had the voice of an angel, much like yours Marie. All I can say is that my heart is hurting--we are all going to miss you. We had some really good times and some really amazing talks. You taught me a lot and I will miss you so much. I remember leaving you silly messages--singing "Oh Cecilia, your not breaking my heart, your making me smile and so smart.... LOL. And Jake setting up your phone ring at home to say "You're a loser" or something like that every time my number came up. So you are in God's light right now --the God who I like to call LOVE. May you be at peace and your family forever have your love in their hearts. To Cecilia's family-she loved each and everyone of you and I can't imagine the pain you all must be feeling.
