Obituary of Timothy Matthew Devlin

Sadly, Timothy Matthew Devlin, 43, passed away on January 29, 2024. Born in Nassau County and raised in Albertson, NY, Tim was the youngest son of Sharon DeFranco. He was predeceased by his father Robert E. Devlin and stepfather Anthony T. DeFranco. Tim graduated Mineola High School in 1998 and began his career in construction. He became a carpenter and was part of the District Council of Carpenters, Local 212. Tim married his wife Janine in 2012. He was a dedicated father and deeply loved their children, Nina (8) and Timmy Jr. (1). Tim and his family resided in Mineola for many years in the house that he took great pride in renovating. Tim loved spending time with his wife and children and  enjoyed taking them to the pool and to local parks. He valued time with childhood friends and was a devoted caretaker to many dogs throughout his life. Tim is survived by his mother Sharon and his 6 siblings, Denise (James) Tucker, Lenore Devlin, Joseph Devlin, Jennifer Devlin, Melissa (Peter) Devlin-Zotos and Robert (Juliebeth) Devlin and 12 loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Ave Williston Park, NY on Sunday, February 4 th from 5- 7pm and Monday, February 5 th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church 155 Garfield Ave. Mineola NY on Tuesday, February 6 th at 10:30am.
