Obituary of Anna Damante

Anna Damante, 88, of Garden City South, NY, passed away on August 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Anna was a woman of faith who loved God and her family deeply. In addition to being an accomplished artist, Anna enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and knitting. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Devoted mother of Carolyn Raio & Michael, Richard Damante & JoAnn and Anne Brusca & Robert. Cherished grandmother of Victoria Pereira, Thomas Damante, Amanda Mock, Annemarie Iadevaia and Dominick Brusca. Dearest great grandmother of Mariah, Daniel, Christopher, Braylie, Emma, Ava, Griffin and Isabella. Also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, August 29th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY. Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 30th at 9:30 AM at Shelter Rock Church, 178 Cold Spring Road, Syosset, NY. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
