Oberg, Evelyn Logan age 94 of Mineola, NY , passed peacefully on October 16, 2015. Loving wife of the late Elmer ("Whitey"). Cherished mother of Peter. Adored grandmother of Kate, Thomas (Christy) and Peter (Marissa). Beloved great grandmother of Danielle, Ronin and Annika. Dear sister of Edna McGrath (Joseph) and the late Alice Thorkelsen and Virginia Murray. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral service Monday 10 am at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 132 Jefferson Ave, Mineola, NY. Interment Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Noah's Ark Preschool or Lutheran Braille Workers.
