Carol Ludwiczak, born on June 21st, 1955, passed away in her home on June 4th, 2026 surrounded by family and friends who loved and cared for her. 

On May 2nd, 1981, she married Tom Ludwiczak and they were together for over 45 years in total. Together, they raised 4 children, Sarah, Tommy, Paul, and Rachel. Her grandchildren, Eliza and Elowen meant everything to her.

Carol enjoyed a long, fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse, working in the Emergency Department at LIJ, teaching at Queensboro Community College, and finishing out her career doing home infusions for over two decades. 

A caring registered nurse of nearly 50 years, a loving wife, a grandmother, a sister, a cousin, an amazing friend to so many, and above all, a mother.
