Terence Simblett, a man of faith, family, and impeccable style, passed away peacefully at the age of 95. A long-time resident of Albertson and a devoted parishioner of St. Aidan’s for over 65 years, Terry was known for his warmth and his unwavering dedication to those he loved.
Born in the UK’s northernmost city of New Castle upon Type, Terry served in the Royal Air Force before making a bold move to the United States to begin a new life with his future wife, Florence. Together, they built a life defined by love of family and strong religious faith. Terry was a long-time employee of Newsday.
Terry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Florence; and leaves behind 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and will be missed by all who knew him.
