Philip Louis Notaro Obituary

Philip Louis Notaro of Manalapan, New Jersey formerly of Howard Beach, NY. Philip passed

away peacefully on March 12, 2026 at age 84.

Phillip was a man who truly loved being around people—especially his fiancé Karen and family.

Known for his warm personality and easygoing nature, he was the kind of person who never

complained and was always quick to say, “I’m good,” but never before asking how you were

doing first. Wherever he went, people seemed to know him. Whether he was stopping by the

bank, picking up his weekly cold cuts, or heading out to dinner, Philip always enjoyed a good

conversation and the company of others.

He was a proud man who took great joy in his family. Nothing made him happier than talking

about his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His family meant everything to him,

and he cherished every moment spent together.

Philip had a few favorite pastimes that brought him joy. He loved watching

television—especially Hallmark movies—and had a long-standing hobby of betting the horses.

In many ways, his relaxed and positive outlook on life reflected the nickname his mother once

gave him: “the don’t worry kid.”

He is survived by his devoted fiancée, Karen and his former wife, GraceMarie. Loving father of

Louis (Lisa), Jennifer (Patrick Scire), and Phillip (Denise).  Beloved grandfather of Brielle, Jake,

Blair (Robert), Salvatore, Marissa, Christopher, Kolby, and Taylor.  Cherished great-grandfather

of Vienna, Brynn, Luca, Peyton, and Gaetano. Dear brother of Nancy LoCascio (Robert). Fond-

brother-in-law of Betty Pillari (Vincent), Angie Borrusso (Joseph) and Guy Minutoli (Karen).

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Philip was predeceased by his parents, Louis

and Jennie.

Philip will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of conversation, his pride in his family,

and the warmth he brought into every room he entered. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories

and a family who will continue to carry his spirit with them always.
