Dorothy Greto passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at the age of 94.
She was born in Corona, Queens, New York, to Tulio Bottachiari and Mary Brochini, Italian immigrants from Le Marche, Italy.
Dorothy was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She found joy in crocheting, quilting, cooking, gardening, and drawing—talents she shared generously and poured into everything she touched.
She took great pride in caring for her husband, Vito Greto, the love of her life. Their bond was one of deep devotion, and tending to him was an expression of the love that defined her life.
She especially loved supporting her granddaughters and never missed the chance to watch Briana and Allison at their sporting events cheering them on with pride from the sidelines.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marie (Richard); her granddaughters Briana (Ryan) and Allison (Tom) and her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Luke, and Mia.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vito Greto; her son, Paul Greto; and her cherished granddaughter, Olivia Greto.
