Anne Triebe passed away peacefully in her home in Albertson on January 8, 2026, the morning of her 101st birthday. The years shared with Anne were filled with many priceless memories. Her kindness, her sense of humor, her willingness to always lend an ear, and her unshakable optimism will be deeply missed.

On nice, sunny days, Anne could often be found working in her garden, and during the cold months, she spent many hours relaxing in her kitchen chair and watching the birds outside her back door. She was an avid reader with a particular fondness for Harry Potter and in later years became a connoisseur of the Hallmark Channel. We will miss having her sitting around the dinner table with us as she slowly but steadily out-ate everyone else. 

Anne was a loving wife of Wilbert (d. 1973), devoted mother of sons Bill (d. 1997) and Glenn and daughters-in-law Carol and Diane, and adoring grandmother of Nicole and Holly.
