Lynn Sider Obituary

Lynn (Miritello)  Sider

(June 26, 1950– November 25, 2025)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lynn Sider, a devoted wife, cherished sister, and beloved aunt and great-aunt, who left us peacefully surrounded by family. Lynn was a woman who touched the hearts of all who knew her, and her warmth, kindness, and love will be profoundly missed.

Lynn was married for over 53 wonderful years to her loving husband, Donald Sider. Together, they created a life filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Lynn’s love and devotion to Don were evident in everything she did, and their partnership stood as a testament to the power of love and commitment. Lynn and Don enjoyed family gatherings, dining out and the theater where they have seen countless Broadway shows together.

Known for her generous spirit, Lynn was always the first to call on a birthday or anniversary and a card would always follow in the mail. A gifted cook and baker, no one could resist her famous rainbow cookies, and her meals were made with the same love and care she showed in every aspect of her life.

In addition to her role as a wife, Lynn was a treasured sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend. She had a special way of making each family member feel unique and loved. Her vibrant personality and her genuine interest in the lives of others will be remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, and extended family. Lynn’s presence brightened the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her.

Lynn is survived by her beloved husband, Don Sider, her sisters, Suzanne Miritello and Lisa (Miritello) Lomando, her in laws Bill Sider,  Luanne and John Brundo, and her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and a community of friends whose lives she enriched.

A funeral service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held at St. Aidan’s Church in Williston ParK, New York on  December 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. All who knew her are invited to join in celebrating her life.
