Gaspare Garofalo, age 91, of Roslyn Heights, was born on February 11, 1934, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Born in Sicily, Italy, he was the beloved son of the late Salvatore and Marianna (Criciata) Galofaro.


Gaspare was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 52 years, Josephine, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, family, and traditions. He is survived by his three cherished children and their spouses, his eight grandchildren and their spouses, and his sixteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.


He was the loving brother of Francesco Galofaro, Maria Galofaro, and Josephine Cutolo. He was predeceased by his sisters Anthonia Lucci and Eluminata Sarcona.


Gaspare’s life was marked by hard work, deep family values, and the enduring legacy of a man who always put the people he loved first. He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, his warm heart, and the stories and traditions he passed down through generations.
