Robert Raymond Reisert Jr. of Merrick passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, craftsmanship, and love. Born and raised in Merrick, Robert was a proud graduate of Calhoun High School. He chose a career as a carpenter where he became known as a skilled and dedicated craftsman, admired for his precision and pride in his work. Robert had a lifelong love for the New York Mets and a deep passion for music, both of which brought him great joy and connection throughout life.
He is survived by his son, Troy and his former wife, Danielle. He is also remembered by his sister, Sheila, brother Ryan, sisters-in-law: Jodi, Nicole S, Nicole B and brothers-in-law, Tom and Ken, his nieces and nephews: Maureen, Sean, Leah, Bridget, Quinn, Jessica and Jaden, along with his great nephew, James and great niece, Nora. Robert will be remembered for his quick wit, kind heart and craftsmanship he poured into everything he touched. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
