Jennifer Hamersky Obituary

Jennifer was born "Genoveffa" on July 13, 1960 to Domenico and Angelina Mastronardi. She is survived by her husband Michael and her son Michael. Michael and his wife Heather are expecting a child and Jennifer was overjoyed to become a Nonna. She has two younger siblings, Rosetta and Peter, who she has remained close with throughout her life.  Jennifer's husband was her world, and the two have been married for 46 years. They met as high school sweethearts in Astoria and started a life together there, with their son, until they moved to Albertson. Jennifer loved her home and lived for hosting others.  Anyone who was lucky enough to have been hosted by Jennifer would tell you that she was the best cook that they have ever met. Jennifer loved intensely and livened up every room she entered. She enjoyed holidays upstate with her cousins and loved watching her nieces grow. Jennifer was proudly Italian and was sure to let you know it. Living your life with heightened empathy for others is the best way to honor Jennifer's memory.
