Anna Sopchak Obituary

Anna Sopchak quietly and peacefully blew her last kiss from Palm Bay, Florida, on July 2, 2025. Her "95 Years of Wonderful" began in Brooklyn, New York, on June 11, 1930. In 1950, she married the love of her life, Bill(William) Sopchak on October 14, 1950. After living in Brooklyn, they moved to Long Island, living in Albertson, New York, for more than 40 years.

Anna leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and resilience that will continue to inspire those who were there blessed to have her in their lives.

Family was always at the center of Anna's heart and soul. She is survived by those who will forever carry her strength and love in their hearts.

She is survived by her daughter Janet(Neil), her daughter Marian and husband Jimmy, her son Michael and wife Joanne, all who lovingly called her Mom.

Her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Grandma, are Laurie and husband Kemal, James and wife Becca, Danielle, Victoria and Kristina.

Last, but not least, her great grandchildren Leila, Peyton, Charlie and Tripp, all of whom knew her as Gigi(four generations of love that very few get to celebrate).

Anna's family would be honored to have your presence at her Celebration of Life on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00, at Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, 49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, New York, 11596. On October 14, her burial service will
