It is with deep sadness that we announce that, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Dr. Geoffrey Lord departed this life at 10:00 pm on July 17, 2025, aged 63. A licensed pharmacist with thirty-eight years of experience, Geoff was the Distinguished Director of Pharmacy for the BronxCare Special Care Center.  For over twenty-five years, he conducted a credentialed pharmacy technician school at the BronxCare Special Care Center that has changed and improved the lives of more than three hundred students, many of whom have pursued degrees in pharmacy and are now licensed pharmacists.  Above all, Geoff was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend, who was much loved by his family, co-workers and friends.  His summer barbecues and other family gatherings have left us with unforgettably pleasant memories.  

Geoff is survived by his Wife of 31 years: Dr. Edna Lord, Sons: Geoffrey Jonathan (Reva) and Andrew; Chosen daughter: Crystal James; Grandson: Geoffrey Nico; Father: Dr. Kester Lord and Sister: Dr. Angela Geddis; Aunt: Shirley Phillips; Uncle: Dr. Kenrick Lewis (Irva); and Cousins: Stephen Benjamín, Winnifred Benjamin, Eldon Benjamin,Wilfred Benjamin, Andrea Phillips, Julene Harmon, Michael Phillips, George Varas, Fabienne Varas, Danielle Varas, Michael Lord, Clarence Lord and Tracy Lord. In addition to their children, he is survived by many beloved relatives and lifelong friends.
